A few days ago, while I was doing a random Google search on Zurich fountains, I found out that Zurich Wasserversorgung [Zurich Water Supply Office] edited a fountain guide. The Kreis 1 booklet, which includes the City, Bahnhofstrasse, Old Town and Niederdorf areas, is available online. But, in case I was missing out on something, and without much hope, I filled the online request form to get a hard copies of the guide. I have to say that my faith on these web mails and online requests ranges from zero to none, but nevertheless I had to send it through. And, much to my surprise, a few days later, I had a couple of booklets waiting for me on the post. It is never too late to learn more about the Zurich fountains…
