The one in the corner of Rämi- and Waldmannstrasse, better known as Waldmannbrunnen [Waldmann fountain]. It sits in an open park famous for its delightful flower beds, very close to Bellevue and Stadelhofen. If you walk into the neighbor post office, you can actually smell the flowers and ear the birds. Apparently, the post office clerks are not so happy about it, as” the smell causes them headaches”. Or so I have been told.
Rämistrasse is known as the Zurich’s art mile, with galleries like Mai36 and Römer Fine Art just a few meters apart. It leads to the Kunsthaus, the University campus and the ETH. Other than this, it is a bit steep for my taste and has shops so expensive they feel like a museum.
