The one outside the Zurich’s Botanical Garden, in the cross of Zollikerstrasse and Burgweg. It is in a charming place, that make us go a few decades back – a small road, old townhouse, a stoney pavement. It has everything you need travel back in time but… what is that modern add on basin doing there?
The University of Zurich’s official Botanical Garden used to be a private garden, that was adapted in 1976 for its current use. Probably due to this, this is not your regular Central European Botanical garden: there is not formal layout, the systematical beds are nowhere to be found and most species are wild… But, what makes this garden instantly recognizable is the bubble shaped green houses, which host different ecosystems.
