It is in the core of the Niederdorf, the old city neighbourhood, also known for its bars, restaurants and bohemian spirit. The fountain is a few hundred meters away from the main street, in the Neumarktstrasse, one of the nicest streets in town. On saturday afternoon, it is just nice to sit at the old fashioned italian-style coffee shop of the Theathre Neumarket and watch life passing by. Or, to check the shops – you can find from a teddy bear maker to a a fancy wool and craft supplies shop, passing by a designer furniture shop, a hat & gloves maker and a Japanese tee salon.
